Paige and Brian before surgery

 So, now there are four.  It's actually been that way for a while, we just haven't said that here.
Her name is Layla Jane.  She took some getting, but we love her.  We had a C-section.  Also, lots of tubes and machines were hooked up.

Rage . . . 

 She seemed unhappy at first; we kept her anyway, in the hope that she'd warm up.  We were in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, in Sacred Heart in Spokane for about a week, Paige and Layla for a bit longer.  I left to stay with Oliver, who was ably looked after by Mama Shaw and Aunt Laura.

She had to stay in the NICU for a bit.

Here is a picture of the little bed and big machines in her room.  It was hard to sleep in a separate room, but the nurses there are pretty incredible, so Layla was in good hands.  Quite the ordeal, but we eventually made it home.
